Job Summary

Lead and develop a small Fine Jewelry team while overseeing the end-to-end process chain—from goods receiving and warehousing to shipping and sensitive returns management. Own quality control for precious metals and gemstones, define clear inspection procedures, and manage live monitoring and logistics cockpit signals to address issues early. Partner cross-functionally with customer service, purchasing, and logistics leadership to drive process improvements and structural setup of the new area.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for a small, specialized team and guide them through a restructuring phase.
•Steer and optimize all Fine Jewelry process steps from goods receiving through warehousing, shipping, and sensitive returns management.
•Ensure top-level quality control by establishing clear inspection processes for precious metals and gemstones.
•Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., customer service, purchasing, logistics leadership) on process-relevant topics.
•Use live monitoring and the logistics cockpit to detect challenges early and actively drive corrective actions; support improvement projects and day-to-day execution.

Key Requirements

•Deep Fine Jewelry expertise in precious metals and gemstones (e.g., diamonds, rubies). Completed training as a jeweler (Goldschmied), gemmologist, or comparable qualification is a strong plus.
•Experience leading, motivating, and developing employees, ideally in a logistics or quality-focused environment.
•Very good English skills (written and spoken) and fluent German knowledge.
•Strong understanding of a seamless supply chain from goods receiving to returns, with attention to detail and precision.
•Proficiency with Google Workspace and experience using warehouse management software (LFS/WMS).
