Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant movement of products. Sign in truck drivers, schedule dock appointments, route and schedule shipments via brokers/3PL and customer portals, and build loads using the truck management system. Confirm shipments, communicate with CSR on load changes, and escalate safety and quality concerns. Maintain ISO/GMP/Food Safety compliance while supporting material control tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure safety of yourself, coworkers, and the environment while supporting a zero-waste and recycling program.
•Sign in truck drivers and direct them to dock doors based on scheduled appointments.
•Review shipping logistics, print pick-packs, and route/schedule shipments from branches via brokers/3PL or customer routing portals.
•Use the truck management system to build and schedule loads not covered by customer pick-up.
•Confirm shipped loads daily, communicate load issues/date changes with CSR, and report safety and quality concerns.

•Operate a fork-lift safely in high-traffic, low-clearance areas and lift/push/pull loads up to 35 lbs. safely.
•Proficiently use JDE and follow standard policies and past precedents to make job decisions.
