  • •Own the backend systems end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and long-term maintenance.
  • •Design modular, reusable APIs (REST, gRPC, event-driven) and backend architectures for enterprise and government uptime expectations.
  • •Break down complex, open-ended problems into clear technical designs and ship production-ready systems with speed and rigor.
  • •Continuously optimize performance (latency, throughput) and cost efficiency through profiling and iterative improvements.

  • •Experience designing from first principles, including shared infrastructure, internal platforms, or developer-facing services with strong DX and maintainability instincts.
  • •Ability to own services with real uptime responsibility, including familiarity with observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and incident response.
