Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair work on trucks, including diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures. •Perform routine preventive maintenance repairs on trucks and handle mechanical or electrical failures across multiple areas of the garage.
•Diagnose and repair truck engine and systems using diagnostic programs.
•Conduct minor structural welding and cutting tasks as needed for repairs.
•Safely apply troubleshooting knowledge to assigned equipment and communicate with transportation managers, drivers, and clerks.
•Read and interpret instructions/manuals/schematics; document work and complete daily work orders; may make service calls at remote locations.
