Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform credit analysis tasks by conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information for loans.
  • •Break down financial statements, analyze results versus prior periods, and prepare reports for borrowers’ creditworthiness and capacity to repay.
  • •Assign risk ratings, value collateral as needed, and review appraisals to assess collateral coverage.
  • •Monitor existing loan relationships using updated financial statements and quarterly triage to assess ongoing credit quality.
  • •Prepare loan committee submissions and reports on problem assets, and ensure credit analysis follows lending policy and service level agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field (or equivalent experience), with preferred specialized financial analysis training.
  • •Minimum of two years of related experience as an Associate Credit Analyst (or equivalent experience with another financial institution).
  • •Thorough knowledge of commercial lending and loan review regulations, plus banking regulations, procedures, and operations.
  • •Advanced ability to analyze financial statement data and distill conclusions.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software, with strong communication, analytical, and mathematical skills.
