Job Summary

Work on optical component product transfers within the Site Engineering Operations group, partnering with R&D, NPI, and manufacturing to define assembly process requirements and launch new products at a contract manufacturer. Maintain production readiness by developing process and assembly tools, training CM operators and engineers, driving RCA for major device failures, and leading process improvements including PFMEA updates and expansion capital bring-up.

Key Responsibilities

•Define production requirements and assembly-process specifications with R&D and NPI teams.
•Develop and deliver training programs for CM operators and engineers.
•Develop and maintain process and assembly tools for manufacturing.
•Perform RCA for device failure modes with significant failure rates.
•Propose and lead process improvement activities, including review/update of PFMEA and expansion capital bring-up/install.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of process experience in designing and manufacturing optical component assembly.
•Strong understanding of optical device principles and theory (e.g., lasers, modulators, detectors, and optical sub-assemblies).
•Strong knowledge and experience of production processes for manufacturing optical components.
•Hands-on experience with a FiconTec machine.
•Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong written and oral communication (English and Thai).
