Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
  • •Set up and operate fabrication equipment to cut and form metal components to specification.
  • •Layout, position, rotate, and secure materials on machines and related equipment.
  • •Inspect fabricated parts and verify quality and dimensions using measuring tools.
  • •Maintain safe, organized work areas using housekeeping and 5S, and perform basic equipment programming/preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must reside within the immediate area of the Minden, LA facility (50-mile radius); no relocation benefit is offered (Active Duty Military exempt).
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders to support fabrication tasks.
  • •Operate fabrication equipment (laser, shear, press brake, turret) and use measuring tools to verify quality and dimensions.
  • •Perform safe fabrication work, including maintaining a clean work area and following PPE requirements (e.g., safety eyewear and steel-toed boots).
