Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, analyze, and secure new renewable energy prospects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including data centres, BESS, wind, rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted installations.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including local authorities, landowners, developers, IPPs, utilities, and advisors to support acquisitions and development.
  • •Lead feasibility work and coordinate technical, environmental, and regulatory studies, including cartographic studies and data analysis.
  • •Oversee the permitting process for solar projects from inception through construction readiness, ensuring regulatory and grid connection compliance.
  • •Manage negotiations and transactions, including NDAs, NBOs, LOIs, exclusivity agreements, due diligence, and structuring PPAs with the finance team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s level specialization in power, renewable energy, agronomy, environmental studies, or project management, or equivalent experience.
  • •3-5 years of professional experience in a development role with a successful track record in project development.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Solid analytical skills with adaptability and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • •A valid driver’s license (more than 1 year) is essential (travel required).
