Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical thread across live enterprise deals, partnering with AEs and founders to understand customer use cases and demonstrate Athena’s fit.
  • •Build tailored demos and proofs of value based on customers’ real workflows, requirements, and data.
  • •Lead technical conversations around architecture, integrations, and security, and assess how Athena fits into existing environments.
  • •Assess feasibility in real time, determining which integrations exist, what must be built, and how complex requirements are.
  • •Multi-thread across technical and business stakeholders and bring learnings back to Product and Engineering to improve technology and customer support.

Key Requirements

  • •Multiple years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role within SaaS.
  • •Deep technical depth to discuss architecture and integrations and explain how a solution fits in a customer environment beyond a product demo.
  • •Strong customer-facing credibility and executive presence, able to run technical discussions with operators, VPs, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • •Experience with enterprise integrations across APIs, SSO, MCP, and data warehouse.
  • •Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic systems, including prompt engineering, tool calling, evaluation, or agent orchestration.
