Job Summary

Hands-on Project Engineer responsible for coordinating and delivering maintenance and fabric work at a chemical/ hydrocarbon plant. You’ll manage CMMS-driven maintenance, turnaround planning, and third-party contractor engagements, leading a team to safe, efficient execution in Fremantle and integrating with the client engineering/execution team.

Key Responsibilities

•Pro-actively build key client stakeholder team relationships, ensuring trust and open communication within the existing client organisation
•Responsibility for the financial, technical and delivery of general plant maintenance
•Project manage and lead a team in concept development and estimating proposals through to delivery of low value fabric maintenance scopes of works
•Sub-contractor engagement, integrated delivery and performance management
•Delivery of all aspects of general plant maintenance through CMMS with turnaround planning and execution

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
•Previous experience in hydrocarbon or chemical plant maintenance using CMMS systems.
•Previous experience in the role of a Project Engineer directly leading or supporting the delivery of hydrocarbon fabric maintenance scopes of work from concept and estimation through to execution.
•Demonstrated ability to pro-actively build relationships and trust within a client base and take responsibility for stakeholder satisfaction.
•Demonstrated strong commitment to safety and ability to manage multiple contractors to deliver projects safely.
