Own Sailor Health’s finance function as a trusted partner to the co-founders, driving FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting. Partner across teams to guide capital allocation, unit economics, and strategic financial decisions while rolling up your sleeves with SQL and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

•Own FP&A by building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets, translating operational data into executive and investor insights.
•Design and ship KPI dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide real-time visibility into financial and operational health.
•Own investor reporting with co-founders, including board decks and investor packages.
•Drive Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) as the business owner, improving net collection rate, days in AR, touchless claim rates, and cost to collect while collaborating with product and engineering.
•Support strategic and operational finance, including vendor negotiations, payer contracts, unit economics analysis, and ad hoc financial work as the company grows.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, consulting, or an operator finance role at a high-growth startup.
•Exceptional analytical skills, including building and stress-testing financial models from scratch and finding signal in messy data.
•Comfort with SQL and translating operational data into financial insight (SQL experience is a strong plus).
•Fast learning and strong ownership—take on hard problems and drive them to completion.
•Use AI tools to multiply your output and curiosity about applying AI beyond the job description.
