Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a key technical bridge to drive early adoption of internal IAM capabilities and provide rigorous technical feedback prior to global release.
  • •Own the lifecycle and policy design for adaptive MFA and federation (SAML/OIDC) for enterprise Okta tenants.
  • •Architect and enforce cloud IAM guardrails across AWS, GCP, and Azure, building API-based pipelines to automate complex workflows.
  • •Mentor engineers and serve as primary review authority for IAM designs, setting technical standards across the organization.
  • •Partner with Security, Audit, and Compliance to ensure identity controls meet audit requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP), and govern AI agents and machine identities within the enterprise identity layer.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale IAM solutions.
  • •Deep expertise managing complex enterprise Okta environments, including Okta Identity Engine (OIE), directory integrations, advanced policies, workflows, and platform APIs.
  • •Advanced knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0) and phishing-resistant MFA (FIDO2/WebAuthn, passkeys).
  • •Experience defining identity controls as code using Terraform and Okta Workflows, plus designing multi-cloud IAM guardrails across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • •Strong background in session lifecycle security, token management/revocation, and continuous access evaluation (CAEP/eSSO).
