Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead NEC contract administration and project management processes to ensure compliance with NEC4 requirements and best practice.
  • •Act as Project Manager under NEC contracts by issuing instructions, managing early warnings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • •Work with and lead on-site Supervisors and Quantity Surveyors, ensuring delivery matches the Contract and Works Scope.
  • •Manage defects, early warnings, and compensation events, producing project control reports and maintaining robust programme management.
  • •Coordinate with clients and design teams to deliver compliant designs on time and within budget, including commercial forecasting, cost control, and contract-aligned invoicing.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in the Highways/Infrastructure sector with a strong background in NEC contract management.
  • •Experience managing NEC contract processes, including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates.
  • •Knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015 and associated duties.
  • •Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • •Financial and commercial awareness, including project and resource management; NEC4 accreditation or qualification highly desirable.
