Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, analyze, and evaluate freighter commercial and operational aspects, optimizing routings and extra-revenue opportunities while securing slots and permits.
  • •Prepare and manage charter agreements and long-term cargo commitment contracts, ensuring contract elements align with the commercial intent of deals.
  • •Manage master operating plans for the scheduled freighter network and charter operations, including coordination with e-trading platforms and interline partners.
  • •Analyze and forecast aircraft fleet utilization, identify under-utilization vs wet-lease guarantees, and recommend aircraft/operator changes to improve profitability.
  • •Investigate equine market opportunities, coordinate equine customer and operational set-up, and ensure safe and seamless equine transport and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in logistics/air cargo with experience in airline cargo and charter operations.
  • •Commercial charter quotation and planning experience, including operational charter set-up and coordination.
  • •Ability to assess loadability and feasibility and perform charter cost analysis with P/L accountability.
  • •Strong knowledge of freighter commercial fundamentals (selling rates, aircraft costs, freighter profitability), scheduling, and slots.
  • •Knowledge of IATA regulations plus experience with cargo acceptance and handling (including special cargo).
