Job Summary

Lead the engineering team making agentic software development trustworthy. Own the security boundaries across customers, data, tools, repositories, workspaces, and agent authority, and design the primitives behind secure autonomy—agent identity, delegated authority, policy enforcement, secure tool execution, and prompt-injection containment. Partner with product, infrastructure, ML, and customer-facing teams to translate security into product capability, and hire, coach, and grow a high-performing security team.

Key Responsibilities

•Define the security primitives enabling agent autonomy and chart the path from supervised to trusted autonomous agents.
•Engineer isolation for safe execution inside customers’ codebases, including tenancy, workspace, secret, and data protections against real adversaries.
•Build the authority infrastructure for autonomous agents: identity, scoped permissions, policy enforcement, and secure tool execution with verifiable limits and accountability.
•Create customer-facing security controls that are understandable, usable, and strong for security-sensitive customers with clear success metrics.
•Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing security engineering team while staying technically close by writing and reviewing code.

Key Requirements

•Led engineering teams shipping production systems with high security, reliability, or platform stakes, especially in areas where precedent is thin.
•Strong product and systems judgment to translate user workflows into architecture, threat models, enforcement points, and tradeoffs.
•Understands modern application security including authorization, tenancy, identity, secrets, data isolation, and secure-by-default platform design.
•Has AI agent instincts: authority design, tool usage, and practical mitigations for prompt injection and exfiltration.
•Comfortable operating in ambiguity and partnering across product, infrastructure, ML, and customer-facing teams.
