Own the multi-year strategy and top-line performance for the K-12 sector, turning Canvas K-12 into a platform through adjacency growth across MasteryConnect, assessments, Studio, Parchment K12, and Canvas Credentials/Pathways. Lead and orchestrate a cross-functional Operational Leadership Team spanning Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance to deliver bookings, renewals, revenue, and ARR, while representing K-12 externally to district, state, partners, and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

•Set the multi-year K-12 strategy, holding the Canvas K12 installed base while driving renewals, expansion, and competitive defense.
•Build and scale the adjacency portfolio to turn Canvas K12 into a platform across MasteryConnect/assessments, Studio, Parchment K12, and Pathways/Canvas Credentials.
•Own K-12 top-line performance, including non-renewal bookings, renewal bookings, revenue, and ARR, and manage toward approved budgets and contribution margin P&L.
•Orchestrate the cross-functional Operational Leadership Team and drive day-to-day execution toward sector outcomes like a sector P&L team.
•Represent K-12 externally with district/state leaders, partners, analysts, and industry events, and translate sector performance into commercial language.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,000 - 320,000 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of commercial leadership experience, with meaningful time at companies of $300M ARR or greater.
•General Manager experience leading a business or major segment with P&L outlook and top-line growth accountability.
•K-12 ed-tech domain expertise strongly preferred, including operating in or selling to K-12 and understanding district/state procurement and channel dynamics.
•Cross-functional orchestration at scale, leading without solid-line authority and aligning Sales, CS, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
•Strategy ownership across a multi-year strategy, making hard prioritization decisions and staying accountable beyond the current quarter.
