Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers, including make-vs-buy analysis and demand coordination via MRP.
  • •Form and coordinate a Materials Core Team, managing deliverables through matrix collaboration with buyers, planners, production control, and engineering.
  • •Create, release, and update new project materials strategy under some supervision.
  • •Support sourcing activities, including supplier price/delivery negotiations, supplier selection/assessment, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
  • •Manage materials change control, resolve supplier quality issues with quality and engineering, and track key process indicators and total landed cost targets.
