•Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers, including make-vs-buy analysis and demand coordination via MRP.
•Form and coordinate a Materials Core Team, managing deliverables through matrix collaboration with buyers, planners, production control, and engineering.
•Create, release, and update new project materials strategy under some supervision.
•Support sourcing activities, including supplier price/delivery negotiations, supplier selection/assessment, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
•Manage materials change control, resolve supplier quality issues with quality and engineering, and track key process indicators and total landed cost targets.
