Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and supervise welding activities and monitor welding inputs as per WPS.
  • •Witness ITP hold points and joint fit-up inspections prior to welding.
  • •Coordinate PWHT and NDT activities and witness hydrostatic pressure tests.
  • •Maintain welding traceability and NDT records; ensure checks and testing are completed per the ITP with QC signoffs.
  • •Document non-conformances and compile QA information to provide completed work packs and updated QA documents to the client.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of welding and fabrication activities.
  • •In-depth knowledge of Australian and international standards.
  • •Cert III Fabrication / Engineering.
  • •AS1796 and/or AS2214 Welding Supervisor.
  • •Previous live plant and brown field construction experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
