Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide, mentor, and coach direct reports; assign associates to the line and manage shift handoffs with safety and GMP compliance.
  • •Lead daily production for assigned value stream; monitor filing and assembly activities with schedules, training, and continuous improvement.
  • •Ensure business unit policies and procedures are followed with emphasis on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • •Monitor order and inventory compliance; collect data and provide required metrics and reporting.
  • •Solve production issues, drive corrective actions and improvement (waste reduction, labor cost control, reduced changeovers/machine downtime), and coordinate with Operations and cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year BS/BA preferred in an engineering discipline (other relevant studies considered) with 5-7 years of experience required.
  • •Proven track record supervising associates in a production environment, preferably drug and/or cosmetic.
  • •Knowledge of production equipment, safe operating techniques, product capabilities, and troubleshooting methods.
  • •Teamwork characteristics with ability to motivate, communicate, and proactively develop associates.
  • •Knowledge and experience operating in an FDA-GMP environment with significant verbal and written communication skills.
