Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide a comprehensive, patient-focused and responsive Outpatient Pharmacy service.
  • •Deliver evidence-based medicines information to healthcare professionals and patients to support informed decision-making.
  • •Ensure medicines are dispensed legally, efficiently and accurately, with appropriate clinical and other checks as a Responsible Pharmacist.
  • •Provide appropriate counselling and information to patients about their medicines.
  • •Provide professional leadership and ensure pharmacy practice complies with GPhC and Medicines, Ethics and Practice standards, resolving patient issues as they arise.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (essential).

  • •Clinical and hospital experience (desirable).
