Key Responsibilities

•Prepare ingredients and complete daily mise-en-place according to standard recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
•Assist during food service by cooking, preparing, replenishing mise-en-place, and plating items as directed by senior chefs.
•Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation in line with HACCP, municipality regulations, and Dubai Golf standards.
•Ensure quality and consistency through correct temperature, portion control, labeling/rotation, and safe food handling to prevent cross-contamination.
•Support kitchen operations including receiving deliveries, checking quality/expiry, following FIFO storage, reviewing prep lists and function sheets, and assisting with opening/closing the kitchen section.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a reputable hospitality or 5-star environment.
•Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and hygiene standards.
•Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP procedures.
•Good communication and teamwork abilities, including attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
•Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and events.
