Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead second-line Operational Risk Advisory & Oversight coverage for the Group Technology & Transformation portfolio aligned to Group priorities and the ORA coverage model.
  • •Act as the primary ORA point of engagement for senior technology leadership across BAU technology operations, platforms, infrastructure, data analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and change initiatives.
  • •Maintain a risk-based portfolio coverage plan covering service criticality, transformation activities, AI-related operational risks, third-party dependencies, resilience matters, incidents, open issues, and regulatory developments.
  • •Provide independent second-line challenge over operational risks, including risk identification, assessment, control design and effectiveness, risk acceptance, issue remediation, and tolerance breaches.
  • •Escalate material, systemic, cross-portfolio, or regulatory-sensitive matters to the SVP and support governance forums with portfolio-level reporting, risk insight papers, and escalation notes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • •12–15+ years of relevant experience in financial services and technology risk/operational risk within complex regulated organisations.
  • •Significant experience across technology risk, information risk, operational risk, operational resilience, third-party technology risk, and data/analytics risk or second-line risk advisory.
  • •Proven ability to engage senior technology stakeholders, risk committees, Internal Audit/assurance functions, and regulators.
  • •Exposure to large-scale technology change and digital transformation across platforms, infrastructure, cloud, and third-party technology dependencies.
