Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver operator trade services across the shipyard, including high-risk license tasks only within your competence.
  • •Support production work on blocks and ships, and assist other shipyard tasks as required.
  • •Ensure tasks are limited to what you are trained and deemed competent to perform.
  • •Maintain safe and organised equipment and work areas for the operator team.
  • •Support your own and fellow workers’ safety, including participation in team safety and quality requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Current High Risk licences.
  • •Demonstrated experience in a similar environment.
  • •Must be eligible to apply for Australian Defence Security clearance.
  • •Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • •Strong safety focus to enhance the site safety environment.
