Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out economic analysis, translate results into coherent written narratives, and support senior team members as needed.
  • •Own small to medium projects and deliver on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • •Act as key point of contact in client-facing engagements and manage the relationship between AECOM and clients.
  • •Assist with project management using AECOM project management processes and communicate results to diverse audiences.
  • •Drive sales through effective bid management, while ensuring proposals are commercially viable, and guide junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree/Masters qualification in an economics subject (e.g., economics, finance, mathematics, engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • •Excellent technical skills, strong personal initiative, and ability to advance in a dynamic consulting environment.
  • •Experience working in a consulting firm, relevant public sector organization, or industry.
  • •Public sector focus and working knowledge of infrastructure business cases and economic analysis (including cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis) and financial appraisal guidelines in Ireland/internationally.
  • •Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including discounted cash flow model building; plus analytical/economic modelling and econometric capabilities.
