Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate infrastructure readiness and document requirements for network and system upgrades for the program.
  • •Author and produce detailed Site Survey Reports (SSRs) by interpreting SOWs, site drawings, and infrastructure diagrams.
  • •Install, route, and secure fiber optic cabling, racks/ironwork, patch panels, and cable management hardware in accordance with TIA/EIA and DoW standards.
  • •Perform fusion splicing, connector termination, and cable preparation for singlemode/multimode fiber and copper cabling; install network devices per standards.
  • •Conduct, document, and analyze OTDR, power meter, and continuity test results to diagnose and repair fiber issues while following security and compliance protocols.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 60,000 - 69,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS with at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for required experience.
  • •1–3 years installing/maintaining/repairing networking or electronics equipment (including cabling work).
  • •Proficiency in Telcordia standards, fiber optic splicing, and testing equipment; basic knowledge of communications installations.
  • •Experience with fiber cabling/fiber cabinets and ideally Outside Plant (OSP) fiber; ability to install network devices per DoW and industry implementation standards.
  • •Active Secret clearance required to start (Top Secret preferred) and ability to travel 90% for deployments (CONUS; potentially OCONUS).
