Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, validate, and deploy predictive pricing models using statistical and machine learning methods for P&C and reinsurance lines.
  • •Develop and maintain end-to-end pricing pipelines (data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring) and related documentation.
  • •Produce rate indications and recommend rate actions using actuarial methods, supporting regulatory feasibility and market competitiveness.
  • •Monitor pricing performance metrics and build dashboards/reporting tools to provide actionable pricing intelligence to underwriting and leadership.
  • •Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Reserving, Exposure Management, and senior leadership; present findings to diverse audiences and mentor others.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • •Active pursuit of CAS Fellowship (FCAS) designation (ACAS or near-ACAS preferred).
  • •3+ years of progressive actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance and/or reinsurance pricing.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Python; strong SQL skills and experience building and deploying predictive models and pricing tools.
  • •Strong P&C actuarial pricing fundamentals (loss development, trend analysis, credibility theory, exposure rating) and familiarity with insurance/reinsurance pricing concepts.
