Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead customs strategy, risk management, and ongoing monitoring of inbound shipments and customs activities to support product availability.
  • •Supervise customs clearance and ensure proper retention and submission of import/export documentation in line with regulations and company requirements.
  • •Build and manage relationships with customs authorities and external stakeholders; coordinate with internal teams and service providers.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop the Customs team while driving continuous improvement to reduce clearance lead times and improve efficiency.
  • •Manage the customs operations budget, including cost management and opportunities to optimize duties and leverage Free Trade Agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Develop and implement the market customs strategy aligned to business growth and customs governance requirements.
  • •Assess regulatory changes and create mitigation plans to minimize compliance risks and business disruption.
  • •Ensure accurate, complete, timely import/export documentation, and supervise customs clearance for on-time release and delivery.
  • •Monitor customs valuation, tariff classification, and rules of origin to ensure compliance and duty optimization.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 1 year of informal management experience.
