Job Summary

Design and evolve the architecture powering the next generation of a knowledge platform across Adyen’s developer ecosystem. Build scalable content models, ingestion pipelines, and high-performance APIs that connect structured knowledge from multiple sources. Collaborate with engineering, technical writing, design, and product management to deliver reliable, contextual, and efficient access to documentation via AI-native interfaces. Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, implement, and deliver the next generation of Adyen’s documentation platform, enabling intelligent, contextual knowledge delivery via AI-native interfaces.
•Build a first-class documentation experience through close collaboration with engineering, technical writing, product design, and product management teams.
•Co-lead the documentation experience strategy with the team lead and product manager to align direction and execution with business goals.
•Define the team’s technological direction by proposing future-proof solutions and driving innovation and adoption of new technology.
•Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring engineers, and fostering engineering excellence and performance.

Key Requirements

•Deep expertise in semantic and content modelling for textual content published across distributed sources (e.g., headless CMS, Git repositories).
•Experience building robust content ingestion pipelines, transforming unstructured and structured sources into knowledge graphs (Neo4j, Kafka, or RabbitMQ preferred).
•Experience designing and maintaining reliable, high-performing APIs for complex data retrieval (Java, PostgreSQL, REST, GraphQL preferred).
•Experience with search indices and implementing indexing strategies to maximize search relevance for complex queries.
•Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes (preferred).
