Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain personal and others’ safety and uphold excellent housekeeping standards.
  • •Set up, indicate, and machine bar stock, forgings, and castings to manufacture Fisher parts to OEM print dimensions.
  • •Cross-train on multiple machines to prevent production flow lapses (e.g., engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, VTLs, HBMs, CNC lathes, CNC mills).
  • •Understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques.
  • •Interpret GD&T per part drawings and adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental rules; support potential field assignments with some travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical related Associates degree or 7+ years of experience with machining and fabricating.
  • •Minimum 5 years of full-cycle machining experience, including programming, setup, and operation.
  • •Working knowledge of CAD/CAM (MasterCam) & SolidWorks modeling.
  • •Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • •Ability to use precision measuring instruments and strong communication/interpersonal skills are required.
