Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide frontline technical support for MongoDB’s largest customers on complex, mission-critical challenges.
  • •Develop deep expertise in MongoDB and specialize in areas like performance, scalability, security, and data modeling.
  • •Diagnose and resolve performance, availability, and stability issues by tracing problems across application, database, and infrastructure.
  • •Analyze customer workloads and translate requirements into concrete deployment, sizing, and optimization recommendations.
  • •Help keep critical deployments online and navigate high-stakes incidents, while sharing learnings through internal resources and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting across performance, memory, I/O, configuration, security, networking, clustering, and storage.
  • •Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting complex, mission-critical production systems for large-scale database-backed enterprise applications.
  • •Strong diagnostic skills tracing issues end-to-end across application, database, and infrastructure, including log analysis in distributed systems/microservices.
  • •Familiarity with database administration concepts across RDBMS and/or NoSQL systems (MongoDB experience preferred).
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
