Job Summary

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare online grocery orders for delivery or Click & Collect within M&S Food operations. Work with Store Operations, Customer Service, and Delivery teams to meet service level agreements, maintain inventory accuracy, and minimize waste. Ensure product quality and freshness (including FIFO and expiry checks), handle chilled/frozen cold chain requirements, and follow food safety and health & safety regulations while achieving productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Pick customer orders accurately using handheld devices or mobile applications.
•Ensure orders are completed within agreed SLAs and prioritize urgent and scheduled deliveries.
•Select products to meet customer requirements and make substitutions per guidelines.
•Pack orders carefully, label accurately, and prepare them for dispatch or Click & Collect.
•Follow food safety and compliance requirements (HACCP, Municipality, cold chain integrity) while keeping workstations clean and organized.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•1–3 years’ experience in Retail, Supermarket, Warehouse, E-commerce, Grocery, or Fulfilment Operations.
•Previous experience in online order picking or grocery fulfilment is preferred.
•Experience using handheld scanners, RF devices, or digital picking systems.
•Knowledge of fresh food handling and food safety practices is an advantage.
