Job Summary

Oversee daily operation and compliance of the offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection systems. Operate and monitor equipment (screens, augers, pumps, dewatering and chemical feed systems), track fill levels, manage wastewater chemical measurements, and maintain safe, clean work areas. Coordinate trailer/tanker movements with third-party drivers, compact cardboard as needed, and follow all safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection system operations in compliance with company policies and regulations.
•Monitor and operate offal equipment (tumble screens, augers, pumps, motors, dewatering equipment, compressors, and chemical feed equipment).
•Observe fill levels on trailers and tankers and drive a jockey truck to move full and empty units.
•Monitor wastewater equipment and measure wastewater chemicals (e.g., santiquan, polymer, caustics) and washing soaps.
•Maintain cleanup/housekeeping for assigned areas and coordinate trailer/tanker pickup and delivery with third-party drivers.

Key Requirements

•Strong mechanical knowledge and experience, including familiarity with pumps, valves, and irrigation systems.
•Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate, using good judgment and decision-making.
•Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
•Must be able to drive a tractor (or learn) and have a valid GA driver license; must be able to drive a jockey truck.
•High school diploma or equivalent; relative poultry industry experience and basic math skills are preferred.
