Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection system operations in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • •Monitor and operate offal equipment (tumble screens, augers, pumps, motors, dewatering equipment, compressors, and chemical feed equipment).
  • •Observe fill levels on trailers and tankers and drive a jockey truck to move full and empty units.
  • •Monitor wastewater equipment and measure wastewater chemicals (e.g., santiquan, polymer, caustics) and washing soaps.
  • •Maintain cleanup/housekeeping for assigned areas and coordinate trailer/tanker pickup and delivery with third-party drivers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong mechanical knowledge and experience, including familiarity with pumps, valves, and irrigation systems.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate, using good judgment and decision-making.
  • •Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
  • •Must be able to drive a tractor (or learn) and have a valid GA driver license; must be able to drive a jockey truck.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; relative poultry industry experience and basic math skills are preferred.
