Job Summary

Join the FAA Airport Research Division as a Research Analyst Associate / UAS Pilot. You will develop flight test plans, operate unmanned aircraft, and create briefing materials to support flight operations. Collaborate with manufacturers, regulators, and academic partners to integrate UAS safely into NAS while maintaining current capacity and safety at the Atlantic City site.

•Develop flight test plans and procedures.

•Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, standards organizations, academia, and regulators to support safe UAS integration into NAS.

•Must be Part 107 Certified and have 40 hours minimum (20 hours is the minimum) of safely operating UAS platforms.

•Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
