Job Summary

Support the US BICES-X intelligence information sharing program by translating Portuguese/English documents and providing consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation for subject matter expert exchanges and key engagements. Help disseminate finalized U.S. products to coalition networks, conduct national security and geopolitical research, and develop analytical procedures to meet evolving requirements. Provide training support to U.S. and partner nation users while delivering feedback and metrics to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Translate documents to and from Portuguese/English and provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation for virtual and in-person exchanges.
•Conduct dissemination of finalized U.S. products to support coalition information sharing requirements.
•Disseminate information using best practices so it is discoverable, available to the right people, and usable.
•Conduct research for national security topics including infrastructure, technology, countries, geographic areas, and geopolitical vulnerability.
•Develop and maintain analytical procedures and provide U.S. BICES/BICES-X training support to U.S. and partner nation users as required.

Salary: USD 85,093 - 105,800

Key Requirements

•Native/Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese (ILR Level 5 equivalent).
•10+ years of intelligence analysis or translation/interpretation experience.
•Ability to translate highly technical/complex documents and provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during professional events.
•Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
•BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
