Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families at assigned military installations.
  • •Provide education and counseling through one-on-one sessions, consultations with leadership/providers, briefings/presentations, and appropriate referral resources.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required (associate degree plus 4 years, or high school diploma plus 6 years may be considered in lieu).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English (bilingual English/Spanish if required by the contract).
  • •Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
  • •Must hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
