Lead a portfolio of database modernization and transformation projects, managing a distributed team of engineers. Key Responsibilities

•Lead a portfolio of database technology modernization/transformation projects and manage a distributed engineering team.
•Develop and execute roadmaps aligned to business objectives and drive delivery execution through Agile ceremonies and daily operations.
•Coach and develop internal associates while providing performance oversight and feedback for service provider resources.
•Oversee outsourced services: manage provider relationships, handle escalations, and ensure contractual commitments, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
•Monitor performance against SLAs/KPIs, support governance/compliance/audits, and participate in cost management and budgeting for assigned teams and services.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,700 - 193,100 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/BA degree required, preferably in a technology field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
•5+ years of hands-on database administration or engineering in an enterprise environment (SQL Server, Sybase (SAP ASE), or Oracle).
•3+ years of experience managing direct reports.
•Experience working with or managing vendor/service provider relationships.
•Experience building enterprise-grade solutions with Microsoft Azure (or equivalent cloud technologies), plus familiarity with DevOps/SRE and CI/CD (preferably Azure DevOps).
