Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer the construction contract and coordinate daily interactions with the Construction Manager and contractor project managers.
  • •Own quality assurance for construction, including ensuring Quality Plan interface and implementation.
  • •Oversee field operations to maintain the construction program and adherence to schedules.
  • •Monitor work progress versus the schedule, report delays/lost time, and recommend corrective actions for construction problems.
  • •Direct field staff and ensure job safety procedures in the accepted HASP(s) are strictly followed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering and 8 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Valid New York State P.E. license.
  • •OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course.
  • •Working knowledge of major wastewater construction infrastructure projects and wastewater mechanical process equipment installation.
  • •Preferred: OSHA 30-hour Construction Health and Safety Course or HAZWOPER 40.
