Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect for scale the token architecture, component structure, and theming model (light, dark, and beyond).
  • •Establish design system governance: standards, documentation, and a contribution model to keep it coherent as more teams contribute.
  • •Partner deeply with frontend engineers to ensure faithful and effective implementation.
  • •Elevate visual and interaction craft across components and patterns, including motion and micro-interactions.
  • •Drive design-system adoption by creating the artifacts and relationships that encourage designers, engineers, and marketers to use it.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of product design experience with strong UX judgment, including comfort with user flows, interaction patterns, and product tradeoffs.
  • •Exceptional visual design ability with an eye for typography, color, spacing, and detail, plus real motion design chops (VisD).
  • •Experience building and governing design systems at scale, including architecting and evolving a system (not just contributing).
  • •Ability to produce distinct, original work and clearly explain specific decisions, reasoning, and outcomes.
  • •Comfort working close to code—reviewing implementation, catching drift between design and build, and communicating with engineers.
