Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up CNC machining operations by preparing spoil boards and configuring fixtures, jigs, tooling, and materials.
  • •Touch off tools and enter registration in the CNC control to run machining programs safely and to prevent property damage.
  • •Change tools and manage tooling collection for safety and to protect employee and company assets.
  • •Use touch probes, calibration programs, and height gages to set up machine tools for tool changes and cutting processes.
  • •Check processed lumber to ensure results meet required job specifications; maintain a safe, clean, organized work area and complete pre-shift inspection checklists and production records.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma.
  • •At least 1 year of CNC machine tool experience with FANUC-controlled driven CNC machines is preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of mathematical functions.
  • •Working knowledge of Cartesian coordinate graphic systems.
  • •Must be able to understand and interpret Machine Code for FANUC-controlled CNC machines and be at least 18 years of age.
