Key Responsibilities

•Own month-end and quarter-end close for the India exchange entity, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation for consolidated audits and local statutory reporting.
•Maintain parallel books in accordance with Ind AS and US GAAP, ensuring adjustments are reconciled and supported with valid documentation.
•Coordinate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Source-to-Pay to ensure accurate accounting, timely regulatory filings, and proper intercompany settlement.
•Support India entity liquidity management and customer funds safeguarding procedures in partnership with Treasury, including oversight of related reconciliations.
•Improve accounting systems, processes, and controls, including participation in integrations, automation initiatives, and vendor transitions; review and mentor junior team deliverables while maintaining process documentation.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification, with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience at a Big 4 firm, publicly traded fintech, or SaaS company.
•Hands-on ownership of month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
•Expert knowledge of US GAAP and Ind AS, with working familiarity of IFRS and SOX compliance requirements.
•Proficiency in Indian regulatory frameworks including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and FEMA, with experience preparing or coordinating regulatory filings.
•Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and ability to manage cross-functional projects end-to-end.
