Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle safely according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer for loading/unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform basic routine service such as checking oil/water/gas/air, reporting malfunctions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate to the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass DOT physical and required background and drug testing (including a 10-panel drug screen).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Provide strong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional communication at delivery points.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and complete prolonged time in a trailer cab; travel frequently.
