Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams on security reviews, system design decisions, and secure implementation efforts.
  • •Define and build infrastructure and application guardrails to enable secure development by default and help instill a culture of secure system design.
  • •Build and mature Headway’s cloud security posture across AWS, including AI-native configuration standards, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
  • •Support ongoing security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and security reviews.
  • •Continuously improve Headway’s critical infrastructure security to reduce risk as new product launches scale.

Salary: USD 222,800 - 278,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of security and/or software engineering experience with demonstrated security-related work as a security generalist.
  • •Deep technical experience building secure platforms/products, with interest in security design and code reviews.
  • •Experience partnering cross-functionally to help multiple engineering teams achieve their goals.
  • •Ability to define and build infrastructure/application guardrails that make secure development the default.
  • •Motivation to apply AI to infrastructure security and to tackle ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment.
