Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform simple/routine analyses to verify structural integrity requirements, including detail part sizing, trade studies, and weight reduction efforts.
  • •Conduct static and/or fatigue & damage tolerance analyses for metallic or composite aircraft components.
  • •Document analyses to support trade studies or detail drawing sign-off using Airbus computer-based toolsets.
  • •Collaborate with F&DT, Design, and other departments to develop optimum solutions and complete assigned tasks with guidance.
  • •Communicate issues, solutions, and work status to supervision; help create materials for team briefings to internal and/or external customers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical) with a strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis and mechanics of materials.
  • •0 to 3 years experience in static and/or F&DT stress analysis with airframe structures and/or system installation projects.
  • •Authorized to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
  • •Understands basic technical principles to solve routine technical problems using textbook solutions.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical procedures, and bill of material systems; communicate effectively in English.
