Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, continually improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes to achieve high product performance in a cost-efficient manner.
  • •Work with development and manufacturing engineering teams across all manufacturing sites and act as a global subject matter expert.
  • •Execute process experiments: design, conduct, collect/analyze data, and report results.
  • •Define process equipment requirements; evaluate, install, and qualify new equipment and integrate manufacturing requirements into process development.
  • •Lead continuous improvement activities and create process control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides; train teams on new processes.

Salary: USD 78,000 - 112,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in a technical discipline with 2 years’ experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 2 years’ experience, or MS (2-4 years) or PhD (0-3 years) in a technical discipline with relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency applying robust engineering and structured problem-solving (e.g., DMAIC) to drive improvements.
  • •Outstanding knowledge in thin film deposition (PVD/ALD/CVD/vacuum fundamentals), thermal processing, and/or wet film deposition methods and chemical delivery or laser processing.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing control methodologies (FMEAs, SPC) and demonstrated proficiency applying DOE and control/troubleshooting improvement methods.
  • •Excellent communication skills plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work with minimal supervision.
