Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and diagnose equipment issues.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors when needed.
  • •Operate and set up equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with another technician.
  • •Maintain complete electronic/daily documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the role and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining, inspecting, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Strong customer service skills, teamwork, and verbal/written communication.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred (ability to obtain within 6–12 months) and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
