Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, manage, and update detailed MEP cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • •Conduct cost benchmarking and value engineering for critical building systems and support design teams with cost advice.
  • •Lead the full MEP procurement process, including tender documentation (BOQs and pricing schedules) and commercial bid evaluations/negotiations.
  • •Administer contracts using FIDIC or equivalent, managing variations, change orders, claims, and reviewing/certifying progress payments and final accounts.
  • •Monitor MEP cost performance, identify/manage risks and cost variances, prepare regular cost reports, and oversee cash flow forecasting and financial tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is an advantage.
  • •Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP cost management.
  • •Proven experience across high-tech/semiconductor/data centre/advanced manufacturing projects and complex MEP systems with specialist subcontract packages.
  • •Strong knowledge of MEP systems costing and commercial management, including contract administration/procurement strategies and familiarity with FIDIC or similar forms of contract.
