Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently produce accurate drawings, models, and assemblies for assigned projects.
  • •Interpret engineering notes and sketches to resolve design-related issues.
  • •Operate Autodesk Inventor 3D models and use iLogic automation to create GA and detail component drawings.
  • •Coordinate with engineering disciplines, project management, customers, suppliers, and shop personnel to ensure all design aspects are met.
  • •Communicate drawing approval and status updates, manage fabrication releases and GA revisions, and resolve shop design conflicts; update order tracking systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 38 - 45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Associate's degree in Drafting, Design, or Engineering degree required (equivalent industry experience considered).
  • •4 years of experience as a CAD designer in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience in 3D modelling packages required; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • •General knowledge of industrial piping and design principles.
  • •ASME Section VIII and related ANSI/ASTM/API codes and standards preferred.
