Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end delivery of complex rail systems projects, ensuring client requirements, safety standards, cost targets, and schedule commitments are met.
  • •Act as a trusted, client-facing partner, supporting co-located working in Cardiff and enabling future pipeline growth.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations to drive consistent performance and governance.
  • •Own integrated programme plans across rail systems and emerging civils scopes, managing baselines, risks, issues, and change.
  • •Direct multidisciplinary teams across Swindon, Bristol (COLAS), and Cardiff, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience delivering complex rail projects as a Project Manager or Senior PM with strong client-facing leadership.
  • •Demonstrated rail systems delivery experience, including managing civils interfaces or multidisciplinary programmes.
  • •Strong programme controls, governance, and reporting (schedule, cost, risk, change, and performance metrics).
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for co-located, multi-organisation environments.
  • •Ability to travel regularly between Swindon, Cardiff, and Bristol and attend mandatory in-person meetings.
