Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content by teaching clinical and lab application of nursing knowledge and skills for pre-licensure students.
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
  • •Grade written work and conduct clinical/lab performance check-offs.
  • •Maintain communication with program faculty and director, including attendance in select faculty meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
  • •Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing work experience within the last 2 years.

  • •Prior collegiate-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • •Demonstrated involvement in the professional area (e.g., organizations, presentations, research, and/or publications).
