Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, mentor, and lead a team of electrical manufacturing engineers and specialists across avionics PCBA, harnessing, fabrication, propulsion testing, turbomachinery, and system integration.
  • •Use New Product Introduction (NPI) expertise to transition PCBA, harnessing, and integration from prototype to high-volume production while optimizing manufacturability and supply chain scalability.
  • •Partner with product quality engineering to drive and support RCCA burndowns for issues impacting EW production.
  • •Collaborate with design engineering teams early and throughout development to provide Design For Manufacturability (DFM) and DFx for smooth NPI transitions.
  • •Own part or all of the manufacturing value chain, developing process flows and contributing to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design including interconnects and board fabrication/inspection.

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of avionics/electrical systems.
  • •Degree in a technical field preferred (engineering, math, or a hard science).
  • •Demonstrated leadership skills with examples, and the ability to creatively deliver hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to bring up assembly operations for electrical assemblies and personally manufacture hardware (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.).
  • •Proficiency with ERP, CAD, PLM, and FRACAS software, and must be a U.S. Person.
